Kejriwal’s sly dig at Trump’s energy cost cutting pledge

Subhash Sharma reported, “Arvind Kejriwal made a parallel between his promise of freebies and a similar promise formerly made by US President Donald Trump for making a point about the universal appeal of that subsidized service.

AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal, who is often attacked for offering what his opponents call “freebies,” used the promise made by US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to make a point about the universal appeal of ‘ready.’

At the Detroit Economic Club on Thursday, Trump promised to cut electricity costs by half within one year if he becomes president.

“I will cut the ENERGY and ELECTRICITY price by HALF within 12 months. We will seriously expedite our environmental approvals and quickly double our electricity capacity.

This will drive down inflation and make America and Michigan the best place on earth to build a factory,” the New York billionaire tweeted.

Kejriwal retweeted, ” Trump has declared he will halve the cost of electricity Free ki reverie reach the US.”

This follows Kejriwal upping the ante when he challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On October 6, while addressing a public meeting, Kejriwal said that he would campaign for the BJP if PM Modi implemented free electricity for all 22 states governed by the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, known as NDA.
