Lyricist threatens Salman Khan, Arrested in fame bid

These threats were issued by one Sohail Pasha, aged 24 years, who introduced himself as a writer of the song “Main Sikandar Hoon” and wanted to be famous.

Threats have been issued by 24-year-old Sohail Pasha, who introduced himself as the writer of the song “Main Sikandar Hoon” and wanted to be famous.

In a statement, the police said a message was received on November 7 on the city police WhatsApp helpline in which the threat was issued and said that if Rs 5 crore were not paid, Salman Khan and the lyricist of “Main Sikandar Hoon” would be killed. The message mentioned that the songwriter would face severe retaliation within a month. In Dare to Salman Khan, it said, “If Salman Khan has the courage, he should save them.”

It was earlier suspected that the threat had come from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang that had threatened the Bollywood actor, especially on issues related to a 1998 blackbuck poaching case.

The police further said the lyricist had called the Mumbai Traffic Control Room to seek publicity for the song.

Meanwhile, Salman Khan has been shooting for his next movie, Sikandar, at Hyderabad’s Falernum Palace under a four-tier security arrangement amid numerous death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
