As the nation prepares for the announcement of Lok Sabha election results on June 4, a political stir has risen in Maharashtra, where MLA Ravi Rana made shocking predictions about the state’s political map.
Rana is an MLA from the Maharashtra legislature who confidently predicts that within a gap of a period of twenty days, the former chief minister of Maharashtra and Shiv Sainik Uddhav Thackeray is going join the NDA swearing-in ceremony. The famous fortune-teller Rana said, “I understand, this will be not an exception: this time as well, I’ll be right.”
The statement has been released by the MLA in the course of the political struggle between the Shiv Sena and Eknath Shinde camp led by Uddhav Thackeray. Rana claimed that the current situation, as described by Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the “window” that Thackeray still has to return to the NDA fold, indicates the latter’s chances at the possibility of a return to the NDA fold.
However, Uddhav Thackeray has been very much against BJP since he came into support with the opposition ‘INDIA’ group of parties. In reply to PM Modi’s overture, Thackeray said with equal warmth and openness that the doors are open; still do whatever you want. I will not come to you, And there will be no reason for you to come back to me because you will not be in power again.
The BJP’s previous act of playing the aggression card and attempting to disintegrate the Shiv Sena, which resulted in the overthrow of Uddhav Thackeray’s government, has further complicated the circumstances. This scenario continues to play out in Maharashtra, and as India battles and flexes its political muscles, the nation waits to see what happens in the wake of the Lok Sabha election results.
