A minor girl succumbed to the severe injuries caused by a father-son duo, who kidnapped her and threw acid on her.
The incident took place in the Patha village of Amroha. This village is under the Sahara police station.
The death of a 14-year-old girl has created a hue and cry in her family. The police have registered a case against the two suspects and started probing the matter.
They claim that both the kidnappers are father and son, living in the same village, kidnapped the girl and then threw acid on her for an old rivalry.
The girl narrated her ordeal after reaching home. First, she was admitted to a nearby community health center in critical condition.
She was later referred to a higher health facility in Meerut, where she succumbed to her injuries.
