In preparation for the much-awaited Quad summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed on Saturday morning for a three-day visit to the United States.
The “Modi & US” event in New York on September 22 will be a significant feature of this trip, as he is scheduled to interact with the Indian diaspora.
All of the available tickets for the concert, which is set to take place at the Nassau Veterans Coliseum in Uniondale, have been sold out due to the tremendous demand.
Even though there were only 13,000 seats available, over 25,000 people signed up, demonstrating the community’s great excitement. After registration opened, more than 500 community organizations from more than 40 states signed up to become “Welcome Partners” in just 48 hours.
An important organizer who was in charge of recruiting volunteers for the event, Ganesh Ramakrishnan, emphasized the enthusiasm surrounding the occasion.
The enthusiasm is palpable, and the sheer volume of people coming together to ensure the event’s success is truly impressive,” he said.
The event, for which preparations are already on, is expected to be a noteworthy assembly that will showcase the dynamic relationship that Prime Minister Modi has with the Indian community in the United States.
