While the country prepares for Prime Minister Designate Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony, the BJP has invited many of the newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) to the Prime Minister-elect ‘s house in New Delhi for tea.
This meeting is considered an astounding preparation for the announcement of Modi’s council of ministers, where the majority of these lawmakers are believed to be taking an oath in the new government today at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Some prominent faces who are expected to get the ministry may be second-generation politicians, including Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, Rajnath Singh, Jyotiraditya Scindia, and others from JD(S) H D Kumaraswamy.
Narendra Modi, who is in the process of forming a government, was also spotted in a conversation with Rajnath Singh, who has been speculated to be a diplomatic person in the new government house.
Other notable leaders present during the meeting were Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan, and leaders from other partner organizations of the NDA, particularly the Hindustani Awam Morcha Secular led by Jitan Ram Manjhi and LJP led by Chirag Paswan, son of Ram Vilas Paswan.
This inauguration ceremony is also expected to be a large event with high-level guest participation, including the leaders from the BIMSTEC nations.
With the country waiting with bated breath to see what Modi’s Cabinet will look like, the pre-sworn-in tea meeting has created the pedestal on which the new direction of India will be formed.
