Mumbai police arrest eleventh suspect in Baba Siddique murder case

Mumbai Police arrested another suspect on Wednesday in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddique. The figure of people in custody has gone up to 11. Accused Amit Hisamsing Kumar, 29, was arrested from Haryana while interrogating other arrested individuals.

The 57-year-old builder was gunned down outside his son Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra on October 12. However, the motive behind the killing remains unknown even as investigation continues into the murder. Several theories, including contract killing, business rivalry, and threat over a slum rehabilitation project in Mumbai, are being considered.

Police so far arrested ten suspects, including two believed to be the shooters. Still, the main shooter and two alleged conspirators remain at large as an investigation gets underway.
