NEET exam leaks spark political furore in Bihar

NEET examination that was supposedly conducted for the admission in MBBS and BDS courses has opened political furore in Bihar over the charges of question paper leakage and unjustified extra benefit given to few selected candidates.

Four people have accused the exam conducting body of leakage, of which a NEET candidate and his uncle stated that the paper was leaked a day before the examination. Specifically, the uncle claimed that two other people told him they would give him the leaked paper for ₹ 32 lakh.

Such allegations have resulted in a serious fight between the ruling party of the Indian syllable Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the opposition party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

The RJD has rubbished the charges that the BJP has leveled against it and said that the BJP is trying to shift the focus from the mega poaching issue by alleging that the RJD has links with Sikandar Yadavendu, who the CBI says was the mastermind behind the operation: Tomar.

Examinees accused the NTA of vagueness and the authority of giving 1,563 grace marks reportedly for fudging its results. The Supreme Court has intervened in the NTA and even reprimanded it asserting that not even a 0. As for the cases where only 001% negligence is found, the following procedure is considered.

The NEET row has also become related to politics in other states and at the center, where the Congress-led INDIA bloc is attacking the ruling BJP. Thousands of young people who want to become doctors have held on to their education, leaving their future uncertain and questioning the integrity of competitive entrance exams in India.
