NIA’s operation against Pune ISIS module: properties attached

The NIA (National Investigation Agency) has brought down global ISIS networks, hosting within India as a part of the fight against terror within the international. The governmental watchdog further assigned four estates in Kondhwa, Pune, as indicated for the financing obtained.

The properties located on the edge of Dharamshala, implicated in the ordeal, were reportedly occupied by 11 suspected individuals, including three absconders. It appeared those less-known properties were used for the manufacture of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and also for designing terror plans. NIA officials explained the cruise missile systems, which mostly engaged the role of these residential houses/flats.

Totally 11 charged, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the NIA had already filed the charge sheet against all the accused persons who were related to the case. As per the provisions of Section 25 of UA(P) Properties Act, these properties have now been acquired and their connection with persons like

Mohammed Imran Khan, Mohammed Yunus Saki, Mohammed Shahnawaz Alam, Md. Rizwan Ali, Kadir Dastagir Pathan, Simab Kazi, Zulfikar Ali Barodawala, Abdullah F

The plot is built around the vision of ISIS to avenge the detainment of its leader terrorists across Maharashtra, Gujarat and other parts of India. Module’s activities were not limited to the training of IED workshop fabrication; scouting for shooting places and hiding places in the jungle; and financing armed robbery and stealing.

NIA, which is standing unabated, is on the trail of crushing all of the different ISIS modules operating in different states. While there are new methods and advanced technologies at work, their core mission has remained constant, which is to deny terrorists a safe sanctuary and to defend our national interests. Painted as the Pune IS module case investigation, NIA’s actions reflect the seriousness of national security.
