Nyay Ulgulan” rally in Ranchi grabs attention as Rahul Gandhi skips due to illness

The “Nyay Ulgulan” Ramp itself has become the focus of the INDIA bloc, which held it on April 21 in Ranchi. The rally would witness the attendance of Sunita, the wife of Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, and Kalpana, the wife of former Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren. In contrast, the Indian National Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will not be at the INDIA rally in Jharkhand or in any of his election campaigns as he is not well.

The opposition leaders were mostly prominently the Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, the Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the AAP leader Sanjay Singh, will participate in the rally on Sunday.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) campaigns for this event have been communicated to the target constituencies throughout Jharkhand. The event will be organized at Prabhat Tara Ground in the capital city of Jharkhand.

With the 2024 general elections around the corner, political parties have sharpened their campaigning to try to influence voters in the second phase of the election.

PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a rally at Jalore and Banswara in Rajasthan, and Amit Shah will be holding a public meeting in Katihar in Bihar, he intends to say. There will be an eleventh-hour addition to the event; Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be present as well.

The second phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be conducted on the 26th of April. It includes 89 constituencies from 12 states and a Union Territory. The election will be, therefore, a seven-round exercise running from May 1 to June 1, with results tabulated and released on June 4.

At the same time, the Election Commission of India declared invalid the ballot count in 11 booths in Manipur Interior through the 5 assembly segments which were conducted on April 19.

Regarding Presiding Officers’ reports, they communicated cases of mob violence and bullets being fired as rampant in some booths as compared to the others which could not be prevented by the use of the sensitive EVMs. The queries of ECI had been responded, to be conducted on 22nd April, 2023 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as indicated by the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Manipur.
