COO Brad Lightcap presented Sora to people in succession at some Hollywood parties, while CEO Sam Altman would be at the Academy Awards after-parties.
The only difference between Sora and ChatGPT is that Sora doesn’t have a website where people can post the video clips they made. Still, some users have shared their experiences with hyper-realistic videos that last one minute through ChatGPT. While this method produced many decent products, it was difficult to avoid such flaws as physical imperfections and unnatural movements were too prevalent.
OpenAI is the prompt of the new generation of generative AI. However, the attitude of filmmakers toward AI-driven movies or TV series is a rather controversial question. In 2023, Selim Ali, the director of Secret Invasion, received an ire for his use of AI to create the opening credits of the Marvel series.
