Padma Awards 2025 Announced: The Centre announced the names of the winners for the Padma Awards on Saturday, the eve of Republic Day. The President approved the conferment of 139 Padma Awards, including seven Padma Vibhushan, 19 Padma Bhushan, and 113 Padma Shri Awards. Awardees include 23 women and 10 from the foreigners/NRI/PIO/OCI category. At least 13 of these have been given awards posthumously.
