Pawan Kalyan finally broke his silence about Karthi’s apology regarding the Tirupati Laddu controversy.
Earlier in the day, Karthi apologized for laughing when asked about claims that animal fat was used as an ingredient in the laddus at Tirupati’s Sri Venkateswara Temple.
Sharing on X, the Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister acknowledged Karthi’s apology and explained why he decided to shed light on his behavior.
Pawan Kalyan said, “Dear @Karthi_Offl garu, I really appreciate your kind gesture and prompt response, and I appreciate the respect you have shown for our common traditions.
Issues related to our temples and the prasadam laddus of Tirupati are very sentimental for lakhs of devotees, so all of us should be very careful while handling that type of issue. “
Well, now that I said what I did, I never meant to do so, and I understand from where you come from – it was not intentional.
As public figures, our role in society is to bring unity and respect, especially what we hold dear the most: our culture and spiritual values. Let’s always strive to elevate these values so we can continue to inspire through cinema.
He continued, I must also hail you as an extraordinary talent whose contribution has constantly enriched our cinema.
I wish Karthi, Suriya, and Jyotika all the very best as they read for the release of Meiyazhagan in Telugu as Sathyam Sundaram. Suriya and Jyotika are co-producers of the film.
