Prime Minister Appreciates Video Showcasing Namo Bharat Train
Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised a social media user for sharing a video exhibiting the high-speed Namo Bharat train in motion. The special train, which is operational on a 17km Delhi-Sahibabad stretch under the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), was inaugurated by the PM in October last year.
The clip posted by Mohit Kumar on Twitter featured the train crossing the Eastern Peripheral Expressway. Retweeting it, Modi said, “Great video. Your timeline gives a good perspective of new India”. Thankful for the encouragement, Kumar expressed his delight over the PM’s acknowledgment and support extended to content creators.
The Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor, which the Prime Minister flagged off in 2019, is the first of three phases under implementation. It aims to bring a paradigm shift in regional connectivity through a system that provides a faster, safer, and more comfortable commute.
The video offered commendable visibility to the Namo Bharat train’s debut and potential to transform the rapid transit landscape, meriting appreciation from the highest office. Such online initiatives complement efforts to boost awareness about critical national infrastructure projects.
