PM Modi criticizes Lalu Prasad Yadav’s call for Muslim reservation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s call for Muslim reservation, accusing the INDIA bloc of perpetually resorting to appeasement. Speaking at a public rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar, PM Modi mocked the leader, who is currently out on bail in a fodder scam case, for advocating reservation for Muslims.

PM Modi highlighted that Yadav’s statement implied taking away reservations from communities such as SC/ST and OBC and granting them exclusively to Muslims. He further criticized the Congress and INDI alliance for spreading rumors about his intentions to amend the Constitution if he secures 400 seats.

The Prime Minister urged the public to remain well-informed, emphasizing his previous support from the NDA and NDA+ in the 2014-2019 and 2019-2024 periods. He dismissed the notion that his government aimed to dismantle the Constitution and democracy, noting that such claims stem from the dwindling vote bank of those political parties.
