PM Modi Criticizes opposition leaders for mutton controversy

The prime minister of our country, Narendra Modi, has issued a sharp criticism to the opposition faction consisting of Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav for reportedly turning away from the sentiment of the majority of the country last year by not constituting themselves to consume mutton in the Holy month of Sawan. Not directly mentioning them, PM Modi paralleled their acts with the Mughal ones, claiming that these individuals are ostentatiously antagonizing Indians to provoke a further riot.

Now, as we move into the part of the talk referring to the viral video in September 2023 where Rahul Gandhi and Lalu Yadav were seen cooking mutton together, and then PM Modi addressed a rally in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. He mentioned the Congress Party and INDI coalition as being nonchalant towards the public emotions striking an example of this rather than paying a visit to the courts to inspect the case records, chose to spend their time at the house of a convicted drug trafficker on bail to enjoy a mutton-cooking session. PM Modi emphasized that no law vetoes their diet, lounging as mockers. This clearly indicates how they are indeed recreating the acts of the Mughals, who destroyed temples.

Within a few hours of controversy that had erupted over a video showing Tejashwi Yadav eating non-vegetarian food during Navratri, Modi was seen questioning the motive of why people’s sentiments were hurt. He also went on a mark towards the Congress party by highlighting that the Ram Mandir Issue was not an election stunt for the BJP but an age-old fight over 400 years old. The Jammu and Kashmir state confidently told the crowd that the assembly’s elections process will soon be concluded.
