PM Modi engages with BJP workers, discusses strategies for Lok Sabha Elections

Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently engaged in an interactive session with BJP workers through the Namo App, discussing crucial aspects of fieldwork at the booth level for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The program, titled ‘Enathu Booth Valimaiyana Booth’ (My booth is the strongest), focused on empowering party workers to devise effective strategies that would ensure the victory of BJP and NDA candidates.

During the session, PM Modi acknowledged the time constraints faced by the workers, particularly with the general election scheduled for April 19 in Tamil Nadu. He urged them to organize themselves efficiently, connect with voters, highlight the party’s accomplishments, and foster close-knit discussions to plan the next steps strategically. The Prime Minister emphasized the significance of establishing direct contact with the grassroots level and encouraged workers to form small groups comprising three members, including at least one woman, to engage with 10 families daily, understand their needs, and extend assistance accordingly. Furthermore, PM Modi emphasized the importance of regular meetings with women, first-time voters, fishermen, farmers, and beneficiaries of central schemes to communicate the achievements of the BJP government effectively.

Addressing the prevailing anti-incumbency sentiment against the DMK government, PM Modi urged party workers to raise awareness about critical issues such as corruption, law and order problems, and the drug trade. Expressing concern over recent drug seizures with links to Tamil Nadu, he emphasized the need to combat the drug menace and educate people about its detrimental impact. PM Modi displayed confidence in the BJP’s prospects in Tamil Nadu, citing the growing discontentment towards the ruling party and criticizing the prevalence of dynastic politics.

The interactive session offered a valuable platform for PM Modi to engage with BJP workers, gather insights, and discuss winning strategies for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. By focusing on grassroots-level engagement and addressing pertinent issues, the Prime Minister aimed to strengthen the party’s position and maximize its chances of success in the elections.
