PM Modi lauds team India’s historic T20 World Cup triumph

Sentimentally, Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi wished the Indian cricket team for their glorious T20 World Cup victory on Barbadian soil against the South Africans. This seven-wicket win has revived and reaffirmed the belief in the cricketing world that India is the unbeatable force.

In twitter and Facebook, the Prime Minister congratulated the team for the professionalism and spirit displayed during the games. ”He said during the conversation that he spoke to the Indian cricket team and congratulated them for their impeccable success in the T20 World Cup tournament, commentating the team’s great skills and spirit throughout the event. Each player’s dedication is very inspiring,” the PM stated.

The Prime Minister’s sentiments also included commendations for the team management, where he made special mention of the departing head coach, Rahul Dravid, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli. To @ImRo45, the Prime Minister said: “You are the personification of excellence. Your aggressive mindset, batting, and captaincy have added a new outlook to the Indian team.Your T20 career will be cherished.”

Likewise, Kohli was also endorsed by Prime Minister where Modi said, washing his hands off from T20 Cricket format, “Dear @imVkohli, glad to have spoken to you. Like the innings in the Finals, you have anchored Indian batting splendidly. You have shined in all formats T20 Cricket will miss you but I am sure you will inspire the new generation of players.

The Prime Minister also appreciated Rahul Dravid and mentioned how his “tenacity, leadership, and grooming the right talent make the change.” We also see heroic performances by Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, and Jasprit Bumrah, who performed so successfully and were instrumental in the progress pioneered by India.

This great achievement has elicited the enthusiasm and jubilation of all the country’s citizens, and the prime minister’s warm congratulations on behalf of the nation have echoed the enthusiasm of every cricket fan waiting for the team to come home.
