PM Modi marks 23 years in constitutional roles with congratulatory messages

Prime Minister Narendra Modi completed 23 years of service in constitutional roles on Monday, commemorating his journey from Gujarat’s Chief Minister to the country’s Prime Minister. Long-time ally and Union Home Minister Amit Shah offered congratulations through a post on X about Modi’s commitment to public service.

Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi completes 23 years in public life as Chief Minister and Prime Minister. This journey signifies unique dedication to national interest and public service over these years, Shah said in his message. His journey inspires the living lot who believe in social service.

Shah further emphasized Modi’s ability to align the welfare of the poor with national development and security: “Instead of looking at challenges as isolated pieces, he has given a comprehensive view for the country as a whole.”

Continuing with his congratulatory message, Shah hailed Modi as an indefatigable nation-builder, committed to serving the country and its people ceaselessly. “I congratulate Modi ji on completing 23 years of unwavering service and dedication,” he added.

Modi became the Chief Minister of Gujarat for the first time on October 7, 2001, and remained in that position until he took the oath as Prime Minister in 2014 after the Lok Sabha election victories. He has since secured a third consecutive term following the 2024 elections.

All ranks of BJP workers, from the lowest to the leading leaders and figures of all sectors, have received congratulations from Prime Minister Modi on his feats during his time in office.
