Prime Minister Narendra Modi confronted the members of the INDIA bloc, Farooq Abdullah and Mani Shankar Aiyar, who gave remarks in favor of Pakistan and strongly answered them. PM Modi declared that if Pakistan weren’t already wearing bangles, India would ensure they would wear those.
During a rally in Muzaffarpur Lok Sabha constituency in Bihar, PM Modi indirectly referred to National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah’s statement in the recent election. The hype around Pakistan’s current hardships is shown in the following statement, “If Pakistan is not wearing bangles, we will make them wear bangles.
They don’t have flour, they don’t have electricity, and now I have come to know that they even have a scarcity of bangles.”PM Modi also rebuked the opposition leaders, bringing them to their knees with accusations that they were scared of Pakistan and had nightmares about its nuclear power.
He retorted to veteran Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar’s remarks, where Aiyar advised India to “respect” Pakistan because it possessed atomic bombs. In Odisha, PM Modi once again condemned the Congress party for trying to scare the Indian people with the possibility of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, he added that such a weak attitude in the past had in fact, encouraged cross-border terrorism.
PM Modi’s strong response clearly indicates India’s robust position in the face of such provocative statements and thereby strengthens the country’s resolve to protect its interests and national security.
