PM Modi warns against congress’s alleged schemes and appeasement politics”

PM Modi reiterates allegation against Congress, mounts fresh attacks

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reaffirmed his allegation that Congress aims to snatch citizens’ property, a remark that triggered a political row. Addressing a Rajasthan rally, PM Modi said the accusation created panic among Congress and allies. “I presented some truths that Congress is hatching a deep conspiracy to seize your property and give it to favoured ones,” he stated.

The PM questioned Congress’ reaction, asserting he only spoke the truth. He speculated over the country’s condition had Congress ruled post-2014.

“Our forces would face pellet guns in J&K. Inimical forces would intrude from across the border. One Rank One Pension and ex gratia of Rs 1 lakh crore for veterans may not exist,” he remarked.

PM Modi alleged the opposition party follows appeasement and vote-bank politics. He claimed Congress’ first act in 2004 was reducing SC/ST quota in Andhra Pradesh and pushing for Muslim reservation, a plan foiled by legal hurdles.

“Constitution denies quotas on religious grounds. But Congress-led alliance wished to offer Muslims quota as Baba Saheb Ambedkar gave it only for Dalits, backward classes and tribes,” the PM added.

He assured no alterations should be allowed in quotas for marginalized communities, regardless of Congress’ designs. PM Modi ramped up his offensive against the opposition ahead of civic body elections.
