Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a fresh attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, demanding transparency regarding the alleged financial dealings between Gandhi and industrialists Ambani and Adani. Speaking at a rally in Telangana’s Karimnagar, Modi questioned why Gandhi suddenly stopped criticizing Ambani and Adani after announcing the Lok Sabha elections. He further questioned the amount of money received by Gandhi and the presence of black money within the opposition leader’s possession.
Referring to the controversy surrounding the delivery of Rafale fighter jets, Modi accused Gandhi of shifting his focus from the issue to targeting Ambani and Adani. He highlighted the need for Gandhi to address these allegations and provide answers to the public.
Modi also criticized the Congress party for its alleged involvement in corruption and claimed that corruption was the only common ground between Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). He urged the people of Telangana to save the state from the clutches of these corrupt parties.
In response, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra defended Rahul Gandhi and accused the BJP of having connections with industrialists and forgiving their massive loans. She dismissed Modi’s allegations as false propaganda.
The ongoing political clash between the BJP and Congress continues as the Lok Sabha elections approach their decisive stages.
