PM Modi launches fierce attack on opposition alliance in Maharashtra rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi unleashed wild rhetoric against the opposition alliance as he campaigned in a rally held in Nanded, Maharashtra. He argued against the Party of Unity because of their internal quarrels, and finally, after they secured all the elections, they would fall apart. Modi’s only target was the Congress party leader, Rahul Gandhi. This led to Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian parliament, where he staked a claim for safer seats across the country.

Modi referenced the frequent conflict between the opposition parties, asking whether voters were willing to be led by ‘rulers engaged in permanent fighting.’ He underscored the importance of reminding them that true power lies in a ballot through which they can show them what is right or wrong.

The Primer Minister, on his part, held some opposition leaders responsible for the backdoor entry procedure into the parliament through the Rajya Sabha and said the alliance would fall apart and would not be in a position to form the next government.

At the helm of the demolishing attack on Rahul Gandhi, Modi tried to establish their connections by demonstrating Amethi’s desertion from him as the reason for his potential withdrawal from Wayanad as well.

He asserted that he and the Congress leader with his team were waiting for -0- election conclusion in Wayanad then deciding the safest constituency. Modi appealed for the massive turnout of the voters in the first phase of balloting and expressed his confidence about the coalition’s victory.

Modi asserted that the Congress blocks progress made for underdeveloped castes and people living in backward areas and vowed to change such backwardness and the present drought situation. He spotlighted his government’s accomplishments and pledged to bring about greater progress in the coming years.

In addition, the PM conveyed the BJP’s amicability with Sikh tradition and expressed his discontent with the Congress party for opposing measures the party devised to uplift the socio-economic status of the Sikh community.

Mr Sachin Sawant, General Secretary of Maharashtra Pradesh Congress, claimed that the allegation is a false pretence, making it clear that the Congress and the opposition coalition have a high chance for success in Kerala, Rahul Gandhi included.
