Prime Minister Modi slams Congress and BRS, accuses them of dashing Telangana’s hopes

At the recent election rally conducted in Nagarkurnool, Telangana, the PM, Narendra Modi, launched a barrage of highly destructive attacks on the Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) for breaking the hearts and aspirations of the people of the state. Modi contended that these parties could not reform Telangana, which, as a result, has suffered.

Regarding the party’s election rigging activities, Prime Minister Modi accused BRS of indulging in huge corruption and having brought nothing other than negativity to the people. He did not hesitate to criticize Congress for its hollow messages of poverty elimination. He emphasized that they never took tangible steps to improve the living conditions of the poorest in their society. The leader also contended that these political parties try to woo voters from the marginalized part of society for their electoral victory without creating any tangible difference in their lives.

PM further legitimized his government and tried to make people aware of his government’s attempt and how opposition led by Congress and BRS resisted the schemes providing benefits to SCs, STs, OBCs, women, and farmers. He accused them of having esoteric politics and somewhat lame social justice.

Telangana, nicknamed “the gateway of South,” was considered a priority region for Modi’s ongoing development. He convinced the state should move forward, honestly describing himself as an engine of transformation.

Modi expressed his fervour when he said that

the country’s people had already announced their verdict, rather than the official declaration for the coming election that surpassed the 400-seat mark, which belongs to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

The national political scene in Telangana continues to witness a heightened intensity as the Prime Minister’s fierce remarks against Congress and BRS further kindle the poll fire, leading to a cliffhanger in the race for power in the state.
