In this case, the court endorsed the joint request by the police by allowing them to detain the parents for police custody until June 5.

Pune police had demanded the seven-day custody of Shivani Agarwal in order to investigate who was provided with the actual sample as well as the syringe in the hospital to exchange the blood sample of the accused with his mother.

Pune police said that they wish to take the doctors face-to-face with the parents, apart from seeking the captured footage.

The boy, aged seventeen, was dismantled by his parents, and he was not able to control himself. He went on to drive a Porsche car and ended up killing two IT professionals who were on a motorbike on the night of May 19 at Kalyani Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra.

The police have filed three FIRs in connection with the case. The cases include the FIR included due to the accident and the second one against the bar, which served liquor to the juvenile.

The authorities have registered a case of endangering the lives of others against the boy’s father for letting him operate the car despite his lack of a license. The third example is a case of wrongful confinement compounded by forcing the family driver to own up to being the one responsible for the accident.

According to police sources, after being arrested on Saturday afternoon, the mother of the minor who was driving the Porsche car tort told the police that Sassoon hospital doctors asked her to give her blood as a sample instead of her son’s.

“We recorded the statement of the woman (49). We asked her why the doctors of the hospital said to give a trial sample instead of hers. She said that she does not know why those doctors said so,”

a Times of India report showed the statement of Pune commissioner of police (CP) Amities Kumar.
