Punjab CM backs Kejriwal, says Jail will make him “mentally stronger

On Friday, Mann met with AAP’s national executive vice president and former Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in Delhi; Mann also concluded that AAP is the future of India.

New Delhi: Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann remarked that Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national covenor Arvind Kejriwal will soon be released from jail, and he will be more energetic, principally because the federal agencies have no case against him or any other leaders of AAP.

Mann, who on Friday met with senior AAP leader and former deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia in Delhi, said that AAP is the future of the country.

Kejriwal has been in custody since March 21 after being arrested by the ED and on June 26 by the CBI in connection with the alleged fraud in the excise policy case.

Sisodia, A senior leader and former Delhi deputy chief minister left the Tihar jail on August 9, 17 months after the Supreme Court at last granted him bail in the alleged corruption and money laundering cases.

Targeting the BJP, Mann said that AAP’s rivals have attempted to dismantle the party but never succeeded. “Like always, the BJP tried to crush and threaten the AAP, and thankfully, the AAP held together and is not factionalized.”
