Challenging the Narendra Modi Government with catastrophic severity, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the PM and his rule of ensnaring the country into a chakravyuh of the current era.
Delivering a speech in Parliament on the debate on the Union Budget, Gandhi compared it to the Ramayana. He alleged that, like erstwhile warrior Abhimanyu, who met his death being stuck in ‘chakravyuh’, the country’s youth, farmers, women, and small and medium businesses are trapped in the ‘chakravyuh’.
“Many thousands of years ago in Kurukshetra, six people set a trap for Abhimanyu and killed him. My limited survey found that ‘chakravyuh’ is also called ‘Padmavati’. It means ‘Lotus formation’. Is it not ‘padma voteh’ Kisko Maar Rahi Ho??” Gandhi further added, taking a dig at the symbol of the BJP today.
The Congress leader said six persons, including Prime Minister Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat after Modi’s image earlier ’emergency like’ situation Chakravyuh’ has been created by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani.
“The ‘chakravyuh’ that has gripped India has three players—the monopoly capital strategy, the structural support system, which is the CBI, ED, IT Department, arms of the government, and the political executive,” Gandhi said, adding that the government projects these elements to capture power and demolish the democratic form.
He also protested against the Union Budget, saying that it has not addressed the problem of small traders, youth, and farmers while reinforcing the infrastructure of the monopoly companies and the ‘ ‘political monopoly that dismantles the structure of democracy. ’’
Rahul Gandhi said that the INDI Alliance, an umbrella organization of the main opposition parties, will dismantle this ‘chakravyuh’ by enacting an MSP for farmers regardless of the government approval and a caste-metered survey.
In his attack on the government, the Congress leader demonstrates political intolerance in the country and the increasing negativity surrounding the government’s work and hold on the people’s power.
