Rainfall and gusty winds expected in Delhi-NCR; Northeastern states brace for showers

Black clouds are covering the sky all over Delhi-NCR. Gusty winds in the atmosphere of Delhi NCR, a precursor of the rainy season in the city, accompany dark clouds. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), a forecast has been declared that involves misty rain or maybe drizzle in prominent areas including Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad.

The IMD suggests that the depression is moving slowly from the western parts. The foreseen path of the storm will take it all across the region of Delhi, then in Noida, Faridabad, the bordering National Capital Region (NCR) network which shall be completed in the next 2-3 hours. On these days, there will be rain occasionally, sometimes ramping up to a moderate pace, accompanied by gusty winds ranging between the speeds of 30 and 40 km/h.

The Centrality of India’s Weather forecasting has offered a peep into the weather conditions currently expected by the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC) in New Delhi. Karawal Nagar, Civil Lines, Shahadra, Vivek Vihar, Nazafgarh, Delhi Cantt, Akshardham, Safdarjung, and NCR will probably see light to moderate precipitation with the wind speed being approximately 30 – 40 km / h.

In the backup cloud storage, the met department has seen the extension of their predictions to include Delhi and adjacent areas, including Jafarpur, Nazafgarh, Lodi Road, and IGI Airport, where rainfall and high-speed winds are expected. Also, the rain spell is likely to affect areas like Bahadurgaz, Gurugram, Manser and Kuruksheth, Kouthal, and Narwana.

In the meantime, while the IMD focuses on the northeastern states for the next two days, high-intensity rainfall is likely. These regions – Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura – are likely to see showers, leading to higher water levels in the Jharkhand rivers. Indoor, high rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya from March 25th to 26th. The weather report also suggests considerable light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and flashes of lightning, towards the western part and Sikkim during the same time.

As Delhi-NCR prepares for the upcoming weather conditions, residents and authorities are urged to stay informed and take necessary precautions to ensure their safety and well-being.
