Rajasthan BJP MLA calls Rahul Gandhi part of ‘family party’

BJP MLA Acharya said that despite decades of Independence, such people still lack any emotional connection to India, its culture, or its people Balmukund Acharya, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Rajasthan’s Hawa Mahal constituency, on Monday criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, calling him a member of the “Mummy, Jija, and Jiji’s party.”

He said that people like Rahul Gandhi, who is on bail, can return to India only during an election season to campaign and then return to their respective countries to enjoy themselves. BJP MLA Acharya said that after such a long time of Independence, people like this still do not have any emotional attachment with the motherland, its culture, or its people.

He emphasized that when Manmohan Singh, the former Prime Minister, was on his deathbed, Rahul Gandhi was traveling outside the country and continued to do so even after Singh’s demise, showing an utter lack of respect during the national mourning called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The BJP MLA stated that by declaring that the deeds and emotions of Rahul Gandhi and his lieutenants are a matter of common knowledge, how Congress handled tall political leaders like Deve Gowda with disrespect. According to BJP MLA Acharya, Rahul Gandhi seems more loyal to foreign powers such as Italy and Rome than to India.

The BJP MLA has also lauded the preparations being made for the Kumbh to come next, stating that it will generate crores of rupees economically and improve people’s lives in various other ways.
“Acharya stated that the trade in flowers, incense sticks, pooja items, apparel, and the sale of edibles would go great, with money going to flow in channels in all walks of the economy.”.
