Indian right-wing group Karni Sena has announced a whopping $132,152 (Rs 1.11 crore) reward for the encounter kill of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. Media reported this on Tuesday, October 22.
The National President of Karni Sena, Raj Shekhawat, released a video statement declaring the above money as an award for any policeman or security personnel to neutralize Bishnoi.
According to a report by the Navbharat Times, Bishnoi’s gang recently surfaced as it had taken responsibility for killing a politician from Maharashtra, Baba Siddique, in the city of Mumbai on October 12.
According to the video statement given by Navbharat Times, Raj Shekhawat accused Bishnoi of killing Karni Sena chief Shaheed Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
Gogamedi was shot dead in Rajasthan’s Jaipur on December 5 last year, and the Bishnoi gang had accepted his murder.
