Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta criticized AAP’s Atishi for her remarks on the BJP government not living up to its promise to approve a scheme of Rs 2,500 monthly allowance to women in its first cabinet meet.
AAP leader and ex-Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has taken jabs at the new BJP government for not making good its pre-election assurance of clearing the Rs 2,500 per month allowance scheme for women during its first cabinet meeting.
While addressing a video on X, Atishi condemned the BJP for “cheating the Delhi women.”. Now, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has retaliated against her predecessor, requesting her not to sermonize the new government and instead watch her own back.
In another dig at Atishi, the Delhi Chief Minister inquired, “The Congress was in power for 15 years and the AAP was in power for 13. Rather than seeing what they did, how can they question one of our days?”
Gupta asserted the AAP’s biggest issue is with the BJP keeping all their pre-poll promises, requesting both Arvind Kejriwal’s party and the Congress to concentrate on their respective parties. “There are many people who want to leave”. “We will take care of Delhi now, and Delhi will receive its rights under the leadership of PM Modi.”
These are the same individuals who have been in power for years, and during their rule, so many cases of corruption have surfaced. They fear that when the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) report is presented on the first day of the Assembly session, many people’s secrets will be exposed,” the Delhi Chief Minister informed the media.
