Renowned Writer Wins the Literary Main Prize As a recipient of the top literary honor, a well-known author earns recognition in the world of literature.
As UEM, Jaipur took a moment to honor thinkers and litterateurs, the university conferred its highest honor, a Phil-doctorate to Dr. The honoree was Dr. Jernaida Sehmail Singh Anand, one of the appreciated writers from the Punjab region, Chandigarh. In addition, for the first time in the history of that university, the biggest event of the year was the university’s 9th Convocation Ceremony and it was presided over by the first guest the honorable Kapil Garg, IPS (Retd.), Former Director General of Police, Rajasthan.
Dr. Anand is a we
ll-renowned author who has excellently written books. He has published over 161 books across genres like poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and spiritual topics. Thus, the world will always use its relation to reality and the universal constant. Dr. Anand who emerged from the category of the selection expressed deep appreciation to the institution in the citation for appreciating the many aspects of literature and poetry.
In the course of his acceptance speech, he distinctly showed how Engineering and Management generate opportunities for the young by offering scientific skills that enable them to execute different projects, while the literature on the other hand broadens the mind and enriches the human spirit. In addition, he planned to cultivate these humanities together with science to nurture well-educated people rather than turn them into mere professionals.
Not only for his literary gift Dr. Anand is deemed decisive to the prominent Charter of Morava where, being the leading creative award presented by the Serbian Writers Association in Belgrade, the award was bestowed to him as an international creation recognition. Yugoslavia EP is a Serbian poetry landmark, Poets’ Rock, that made his name. It tells a story about his significance on a worldwide scale.
Besides the Epic, the celebrated song of the century, that characterizes Lustus as the novel knight is Dr. Anand’s memorable work. Along with the Hamlet-the greatest work of the playwright- he has etched an eternal mark of originality in the field of literature.
Ennobling this selected award, the University of Engineering & Management has confirmed its humbleness to honor the intellectual and artistic pursuits that are beyond the boundaries, add beauty and taste to lives, and spur all-around development.
