According to some reports, the party lost two of its women leaders, including the main woman in charge of the party in Chandigarh, when many of them felt disrespected by the Gandhi Congress chief, Ms Lucky. Largely due to the magnitude of the volume of absentee ballots, Virginia experienced a steady flow of late interest.
At the same time, when Manish Tewari of the Congress went to the party office of Chandigarh, the resignations came. Bansal and Tewari were both screened for the candidature of the Chandigarh Lok Sabha seat, but finally, Tewari came out from the party as screened for politics.
DeePa Dubey, who preferred resigning from her position as the leader of women of Chandigarh (Chandigarh Mahila Congress president), accused Lucky of insulting Bansal. People at the Congress Office waited for Tewari’s arrival with open arms to greet him. Lucky was kind to Tewari, pointing out he was a local kid and had a better religious image than Abasioscript. In his speech, he re-emphasized his link to Chandigarh, where he was born and brought up telling people about his program to address the local problems with their support.
