Sachin Pilot, a prominent Congress leader, has expressed scepticism towards the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) lofty electoral ambitions. Despite the BJP’s target of winning 370 seats across India, Pilot believes that the party’s inability to deliver on its promises during its ten-year tenure at the Centre undermines their credibility. In Rajasthan, where the BJP hopes to achieve a remarkable feat of winning all 25 Lok Sabha seats, Pilot confidently declared that such an outcome is highly unlikely.
Pilot explained that the Congress party is in a better position than ever. He cited the party’s superior candidates, vigorous campaign, and enthusiastic workers as factors contributing to its success.
Pilot cast doubt on the effectiveness of the BJP-led government in Rajasthan, suggesting that the first-time MLA in charge has failed to make a significant impact in the state.
Pilot argued that the people of Rajasthan had given the BJP all the Lok Sabha seats for a decade with little to show for it. He emphasized that the Congress party, with its commitment to change, would secure more seats than the BJP.
With humility, Pilot stated that the Congress would open its account and ensure victory in all 25 seats or even surpass the BJP’s tally.
