Bearing in mind that the political arena has really gone through a phase of sharpness and personalization, Navneet Rana, an independent MP from Amravati, angrily and discoveringly attacked Sanjay Raut, a leader from the Shiv Sena Party, for his insulting remarks. In a situation where tensions were already flaring up, Rana’s fiery answer poured on the already-burning fire and made it more ferocious. The party leaders appear to be more in collision.
Noted for his acerbic style and unrelenting nature, Raut recently came up with a concerted effort to berate and hiss on Rana, whom he referred to as that girl who dances and comes out with provocative statements in which she does not even mind showing off, being a pranks’ machine. But Rana, watching his or her back at Raut’s notions, one could say has angrily returned and hurled back the missiles one-by-one, leaving no ambiguity.
However, Rana has turned the tables with a damning reproach that has sparked a firestorm on social media where she has referred to Raut as worthless trash—the word trash used in such a political scenario indicating how bitter and stormy the state’s politics has become. Rana has firmly made it known in her contemptuous words that she won’t let them slide and will not stand silent under these slurs but will fire back with her own harsh words, all in a bid to gain an upper hand over her opponent.
The fiery verbal confrontation can be seen as a firestarter for an for an increase in the number of reactions, and it inflames people’s opinions as pro- or anti-sides weigh in on the battleground. While some laud Rana for her bold reply to the shaming as relatively ugly and stupid, others reveal that they are against her reply that involved personal attack, saying that such an approach was inappropriate for their age.
Amidst the cacophony of voices, one thing is certain: indeed, they have already held their hands quite tight, which makes this political piece a fantastic show.
Whereas Rana’s fight is as poetic as Raut’s is physical, the two battles serve as an indication of the level of heat and passion with which the quest for power in Maharashtra’s political jungle is taken.
