Sexual harassment allegations: Lookout notice issued against JDS MP Prajwal Revanna

In the latest advancement, JDS MP Prajwal Ravaa was subjected to incluntation notice varying indecency charges against him. Union Home Minister of Karnataka, G Parameshwara, had made it very clear that the SIT Chief of the Special Investigation Team, encircling Revanna, should go before them so that he is not arrested there. Otherwise, there can be consequences.

 The mentioned SIT had rejected the demand of a seven days reprieve made on behalf of the accused as requested to defend himself before the investigation.

Revanna, aged 33, an MP, is the grandson of PM H D Deve Gowda and has come under the spotlight of a big controversial situation. It comes from the mouth of a woman who was a staff member at Revanna’s house. She has accused both the youngster guy, Prajwal Revanna, and his dad, HD Revanna, of workplace sexual harassment.

 Lastly, she has claimed that Prajwal Revanna has grabbed her daughter’s privacy, which was the result of his video calls’ harassment. Besides those visuals, otherwise disturbing, which allegedly showed him Prajwal Revanna, there have been other materials available online.

These accusations have ignited a strong political controversy that is a critical issue now around the campaign. JDR, with the help of the BJP, has formed an alliance entry to the election, and the controversy has affected the reverse tactics of the BJP. 

The reply of the Indian National Congress leader, Mrs Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, affects Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi, who chooses to remain silent on the issue. BJP National President Amit Shah came as the response criticizing such persons while negating the Congress government in Karnataka for not taking action on such behaviour.
