Shocking graffiti threat at Delhi metro targets CM Kejriwal, accused arrested

In a rather disturbing instance, a 32-year-old man with a history of mental illness was recently arrested for making terroristic threats at two stations of Delhi Metro against CM Arvind Kejriwal; he wrote threats in English and Haryanvi on the walls of two metro stations to threaten Kejriwal.

The person who appeared in the video is named Ankit Goyal. He was a resident of Bareilly City in the Uttar Pradesh area of India and was arrested by police officers. The police revealed on Monday that Rajiv Chowk and Patel Nagar Metro stations had been targeted to dump the threatening messages.

Without any delay, AAP has pinned the charges directly on the BJP and Modiji, inferring that the PMO itself is planning a conspiracy to attack Kejriwal.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, “The BJP has been in a state of panic ever since Arvind Kejriwal came out of Jail. Now they are devising a plan seriously to attack Arvind Kejriwal. This plot is prepared at the PMO.”

Atishi, another of the AAP’s senior leaders, criticized the police and Cybe Cell for being passive despite CIS and security footage and personnel at these metro stations. She further accused the BJP of scripting this event.

On the same note, the Delhi Police have already lodged an FIR and are succeeding in investigating the circumstances surrounding that extensively. The arrest of Ankit Goyal and subsequent interrogation can help to elaborate further on the details of the alleged conspiracy and the main reasons behind the threats left in graffiti.

Surely, this episode added a new pinch of tension to the already heated political climate in the capital city, with AAP and BJP constantly blaming and countering each other.
