Shooter in Salman Khan firing identified as Haryana gangster

The Shooter in the Salman Khan incident was identified as a Gurugram gangster.

The Mumbai Police have identified one of the two men seen firing shots outside actor Salman Khan’s residence as Vishal Rahul, a Haryana-based gangster. Vishal belongs to Lawrence Bishnoi’s syndicate and is wanted in multiple murder and extortion cases in Haryana and Delhi.

Sources note Vishal hails from Gurugram and has studied till Class 10. He has over five criminal charges and was involved in the recent killing of a bookie in Rohtak on Bishnoi’s instructions. CCTF footage shows Vishal firing the fatal bullet, with the victim’s mother also injured.

The Delhi Police raided Vishal’s Gurugram home on Monday, while the Haryana Police probed his links after the shooter was traced to the state. Vishal’s family claims they haven’t spoken to him since he went missing on March 7th.

Meanwhile, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother purportedly took responsibility for the incident targeting Salman Khan in an online post. The actor, who was home during the Sunday shooting, has also faced threats from Bishnoi and Goldie Brar in the past.

With Vishal’s identification, multiple agencies are investigating to apprehend the culprits and uncover any wider conspiracy. Security has been heightened around the Bollywood superstar.
