Shootout in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir: Two soldiers injured in encounter

A drastic scene took place in Renji Aru (Bandipora) Forest, the area where security forces were engaged in a brief shootout with terrorists located in Jammu-Kashmir. The first step happened that morning, which caused the two soldiers to have injuries. Medical attention has already been prompted for them, and their condition was reported to be stable.

A senior police official informs that the army of the country started line along the upper mountain ranges in the Renjhi jungle based on false information about the presence of terrorists there. The militants had a brutal surprise prepared for the patrol party as they suddenly opened fire at the troops, resulting in minor injuries for two soldiers.

Upon the shootout, the supporting group was introduced right away before the search for the other group members became more vigorous and speedy. The militaries are working toward balancing safety and trying to deny the terrorists a chance to reach the target area.

Simultaneously, the investigation arm of the police is also probing the suspected murder of a government employee, Mohmmad Razaq, at Rajouri on Monday night at the hands of terrorists. The police have been mentioning that there was the involvement of foreign terrorist Abu Hamza, belonging to the infamous outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, in the attack.

In the aftermath of these mishaps, Rajaanur also conducted a complete review of the police security system in Rajouri, the additional director general of police of Jammu and Kashmir. The underlining of the importance of continued vigilance during the ongoing Lok Sabha elections makes Jain also mention the role of intelligence actioning as a means of counteracting disruptive influences from anti-national forces.
