Sowmya alleges assault: Tamil and Malayalam film industries in Turmoil

There was a scandalous incident in Uttar Pradesh where a woman claimed to have been molesting as she was accompanying her husband in an ambulance to the hospital. After the attack, the staff of an ambulance, according to the information, expelled both the woman and her husband, who suffers from lung disease, out of the vehicle, tearing off the oxygen mask. Unfortunately, later, the husband expired while he was being treated at Gorakhpur Medical College.

The incident happened on 30 August of this year in Siddharthnagar district. The woman’s husband, Harish, had been sick for about five days and was first admitted to the Basti Medical College. When he became more ill, doctors told him to go to another centre. However, due to the high cost of the fees in the private hospital, the woman reluctantly took her husband home for further treatment.

It is also alleged that in the vehicle, the driver forced her to sit in the front with him, and also his aide sexually mistreated her. She came to that and tried to object but was met with the cutting off of her husband’s oxygen, and both were violently ejected from the ambulance. The driver is also described as having stolen the woman’s jewelry, several zipper bags which contained jewellery, wallets, cell phones, and some amount of cash.

The victim could tell her brother what had occurred, and he immediately reported the case to the police. Although she was rushed back to the hospital, her husband died due to his injuries.

According to the woman, the police did not arrest the ambulance driver and his accomplice. An FIR has been filed at the Ghazipur police station, Lucknow. Additional Director General of Police Lucknow North Jitendra Dubey said that yes, a case has been filed and necessary actions are being taken.
