West Bengal witnessed a battle of words fiercely unleashed by Saujani Badhe B.J.P.’s state president, Sukanya Majumdar, on the ruling Trinamool Congress party. Majumdar’s foot-stomping harangue that left no stone obsolete made hyperbolic suspicion and dread seem sedate in comparison to Trinamool’s politics, which signified the culturally rich heritage of England of yesteryear—the legacy of bygone eras in its place, abused by personal and public terror.
“Moreover, instead of the melodious strains of Rabindra Sangeet, camera shots caught bombs for the green color norm,” shocked Majumdar, whose words were directly penetrating the charged environment to all ends. The vice presidential candidate’s killing words were a direct stab at “Choker” (the name of the ruling party, Trinamool) being implicated in so many cases of political violence and bombing in the state.
On the side of Trinamool, which is famous for tactful clashes, the very next day, Counter attacked the BJP, calling their allegations untrue and blaming the party for intentionally tainting the state’s image.Word exchange was soon intensified with the blows, and counter-blows served as parties exchanged rhetorical blows, each claiming to be against morality.
Smashes of words being thrown in data volleys never ended as one by one political analysts and citizens watched it attentively with a thought of whether this last clash would widen the rifts between the two rivals or provide an opportunity for a temporary truce.One thing was sure: nevertheless, the temperature in Bengal was rising and the stakes were higher than they had ever been, but that did not frighten me anymore as I was confident in my skills and knowledge.
