Tragic bus fire on KMP expressway kills 9 near Nuh, Haryana

In a very sad fling, late on Friday night, nine people including the bus driver were killed when the bus they were in flame on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway near the district Nuh, Haryana.

The bus-cum-devotees, heading for Vrindavan, went ablaze at any time and the reasons for such disaster are under investigation. An accident has left a vast number of people as victims, including elderly individuals, elderly citizens and women and children among them.

Nuh district MLA Aftab Ahmed, got there ASAP and evinced dismay seeing the tragic event. He called it “very painful, sad and heart-wreaking”. Mr. Aftab said that all the injured ones have been admitted to the Nuh Medical College for treatment.

Meena Rani, a passenger, who received an injury, says there were 64 passengers on bus and misfortune occurred. She told the police that the bus driver took the advantage after the event and disappeared.

Rescue units and emergency services in the area acted promptly to the crisis, giving their best effort in order to sustain the victims and the dear ones. The origin of the blaze is still being investigated by the authorities, and assurances of a through investigation into the issue were made.

As result of catastrophes like this one the government that has to focus its main force on the construction of these safer and better highways in order to prevent the occurrence of disastrouscases in the future.
