In a freak incident in Hyderabad, a 23-year-old man lost his life when he accidentally fell from the window of a third floor while chasing a playful dog. The incident happened at the VV Pride Hotel in Chandanagar. The victim had gathered there with several friends to celebrate a birthday party on Monday.
According to CCTV footage and videos on social media, Uday stepped out of his hotel room and found a dog in the corridor. Initially trying to shoo it away, he started running playfully after the dog. In a set of unfortunate events, Uday leaned out of a window and fell, which caused fatal injuries shortly afterward.
A polytechnic student, Uday, was returning to the hotel after attending a birthday celebration with friends in Ashok Nagar and Jyothi Nagar. His sudden death came as a shock to his friends and family members.
The Chandanagar police launched an inquiry into the circumstances behind the incident and registered a case. The body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for post-mortem.
In another incident, a young man of 21 years was saved by alert residents when he attempted to jump from the 14th floor of a tower in Noida, Uttar Pradesh’s Supertech Capetown Society. Witnesses said in this dramatic incident, the man, aggrieved by mental problems, tried jumping from the balcony.
The locals in the neighborhood rushed upstairs to sort it out immediately. A video emerged from the scene showing a man perilously hanging from the balcony while two others quickly scale up to his rescue. They pulled him over and saved him from what could have been a terrible disaster. Police arrived shortly after the incident was reported.
