A 17-year-old driver high on alcohol charged into Kalyani Nagar, Pune, and knocked down two software engineers who riding their motorbikes early Sunday morning.
The Pune police have registered some other sections under the IPC, along with sections 184, 119, and 177. Under the Motor Vehicle Act, section 185 for driving by a drunken person has been included with the complaint against the accused minor.
The juvenile justice board is currently considering the police’s application to try the teenager as an adult, with the order expected to be announced between 4 and 4:The study was conducted in the laboratory from 3:30 to 5 30 pm.
Vishal Agarwal, the father of the accused and the real estate developer, was taken to two days of police custody because of his consequent attitude during the investigation. Vishal made a move to mislead the police by telling them that he was present in Shirdi, whereas currently, he was in Aurangabad.
The police have also filed a complaint against Vishal under sections 75 and 77 of the Indian Juvenile Justice Act, saying he was negligent towards the child and gave him alcohol.
