Trinamool demands Minister’s Resignation over misconduct allegations

The Trinamool has warned party workers, and the minister, Akhil Giri, has given an ultimatum to tender an unreserved apology to the lady officer and resign.

Kolkata:

The West Bengal-based ruling Trinamool Congress has unleashed a barrage of criticism on its leader and the state’s jail minister, Akhil Giri. They demanded his resignation following a video in which he threatened a Department official. The Trinamool has thus warned the party workers and the minister that the party has demanded he to tender an unconditional apology and resign from his place as a ladies officer.

The above action has been provoked by an outrage from the public, especially affected parties. The minister’s behavior did not please the party echelon in the country as well as other political players.

State Trinamool Congress chief Subrata Bakshi spoke to the poll protester Akhil Giri and gave the message.

Yang has said, ‘Yesterday our minister misbehaved with a lady forest officer, and we ensured to clear our stand that such behavior is not acceptable for our party. Forests Minister Birbaha Hansda also talked to the officer. Today, State President of the party Subrata Bakshi advised Akhil on the phone, saying that he should personally apologize to the officer and tender his resignation to the party.

Here, what has to be highlighted is that the Trinamool Congress follows Raj Dharma and only the Trinamool Congress can take such action as a party, Soren said.

That is why the BJP will never be able to take such a step, and the CPM, which has also committed anti-women actions in the past along with taking anti-women decisions, will not be able to follow such Raj Dharma, said Dr.

This is the minister whose tongue runs away with him; the earlier CM of the state had to tender an apology for his distasteful remarks about President Droupadi Murmu.
