Uttar Pradesh student survives black magic ritual attempt by teachers

An eight-year-old Class III student of Hathras district in Uttar Pradesh has narrated a horrific tale of how his school teachers allegedly tried to kill him so that they could practice black magic. The incident came to light on September 6 when the boy was discharged from the hospital after his parents were informed that he was in acute pain in his stomach.

The child’s grandfather said the boy showed signs of something being amiss when he came home. “I noticed marks on his neck, and his eyes were red,” he said. Later, the child revealed to him that the school manager attempted to suffocate him by pinching his nose and choking him.

In a bizarre sequel to this gruesome tale of horror, another junior student was ‘sacrificed’ in the very same school in a bid to bring infamy to that educational institution. This time, a teacher abducted a second-grade student named Kritarth from the school’s hostel on September 23, and a ritual was performed, during which the teacher slashed Kritarth as he woke up and began to cry.

ASP Ashok Kumar Singh confirmed the above and said that during the ritual, the teacher strangled the boy. The police arrested five people, including the school owner, his son, the principal, and two teachers, in this regard. The arrested principal and teachers were identified as Laxman Singh, Ramprakash Solanki, and Veerpal Singh.

According to reports, the school’s owner was a staunch believer in ‘tantrik rituals’ and intended to sacrifice a student to increase school prosperity. The teachers misled Kritarth’s parents by informing them that their son was unwell and needed to go to the hospital as part of their nefarious scheme. When the parents followed them, they later found their child’s body lying dead in the car at Sadabad. A post-mortem examination later revealed that Kritarth had been strangled.
