Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has been discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi, following a successful recovery from cardiac-related complications. The news was announced by the premier hospital on Wednesday.
Dhankhar was admitted to AIIMS on March 9 for medical care and was provided with intensive care by the medical team. The hospital said that he recovered well and has been discharged on March 12. Following discharge, the Vice President has been ordered to rest well in the coming days in order to regain fully.
In a message on social media, Dhankhar expressed his gratitude to AIIMS medical team for the superb treatment they had provided him, stating, “Their work and meticulous attention ensured a smooth recovery.” He thanked well-wishers from all across India and abroad for concern and warm gestures, which he stated were nothing short of heartening.
