Yadav and Thakur clash in Lok Sabha over Agnipath scheme

This is a ‘budget of despair,’ said Akhilesh Yadav, the Member of Parliament from Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh, while people in the government are actually hailing it.

New Delhi:
Today, during the discussion on Budget 2024 in Lok Sabha, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav targeted Anurag Thakur: It has happened in twenty years; the trusting soldiers are being deceived.

It has been labeled as a ‘budget of despair’ by Kanpur MP Yadav (reserved_special_token_260) from Kanauji, Uttar Pradesh, yet those in the government are hailing it.

He wants to know where the money for the unemployed, the youngsters, and villages was in the budget. ”Those with family know how challenging it is to manage the household, education of the children, and treatment of the elderlies,” Mr. Yadav said.

Moving over to Uttar Pradesh, the former Chief Minister stated, “You unfolded the Make in India vision, but Uttar Pradesh did not get even a single big project despite we got a Prime Minister. Did we get an IIM or an IIT.? Which central institution was established?

Despite the Samajwadi Party government providing green signal for two AIIMS at Raebareli and Gorakhpur, did people get befitting medical facilities?
Picking a fight with the BJP for its below-par performance in Uttar Pradesh in this general election, he said, “Results in UP were such. How much did you work? Would the result be like this even if everything was done rightly?”

He then recited some of the couples allowed by Wasim Barelvi. “Woh jhoot bol raha tha bade salike se, main aitbaar na karta toh kya karta?” (He lied with such finesse that I could not afford not to trust him), he said, the opposition thumping the desk.
