A disturbing video has surfaced showing a young man being brutally assaulted by four individuals in Andhra Pradesh’s Dr. BR Ambedkar Konaseema district. The victim, identified as Rameshwarapa Jayasai Yuvaraju from Gudapalli village, is currently receiving treatment at a local hospital.
The assault, recorded by the attackers on their mobile phones, highlights the premeditated nature of the violence. All involved are students at AFDT Junior College in Malkipuram. A formal complaint has been lodged with local police, leading to the filing of a case.
In the nearly four-minute video, Yuvaraju, dressed in a light pink shirt, can be seen embroiled in an argument with two assailants. Suddenly, a third attacker strikes him with a dried coconut frond, and stones are hurled at him. As he pleads for mercy, Yuvaraju is dragged along a muddy path while one of the attackers, wearing a red t-shirt, appears to taunt him.
The situation escalates quickly, with the attacker in the red shirt grabbing Yuvaraju by the neck and forcing him to the ground, tearing his shirt in the process. The video captures the relentless assault, including moments where one attacker bites Yuvaraju’s cheek, leaving blood on his hands.
At one point, after sustaining serious injuries, Yuvaraju is shown on the ground, taking repeated kicks from the group. He is later seen kneeling, with the remnants of his torn shirt wrapped around his neck.
Reports indicate that the attack was motivated by revenge. Yuvaraju, serving as a class monitor, had previously lodged complaints against these four individuals. They allegedly lured him to a secluded area under the pretense of escorting him to college and subjected him to brutal beatings for over two hours.
Fearing for his life, Yuvaraju had initially refrained from reporting the incident, as his attackers had threatened to kill him. The community is now calling for justice as the investigation unfolds.
