YouTuber Ranveer Alabamia rescued from drowning in Goa

Popular podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia said an underwater current swept away him and his girlfriend. YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, said that he nearly drowned at a Goa beach while swimming and was rescued by the family of an IPS officer and his IRS wife.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, the popular podcaster shared his ordeal in which he claimed that he was swimming in the open sea with his girlfriend when they were both swept away by an underwater current.

We are all fine and good now. But yesterday at 6:00 pm or so, my girlfriend and I had to be rescued from a bit of a situation,” Ranveer said in his Instagram post on Christmas day.

According to the YouTuber, he always enjoyed swimming in the open ocean. However, from his childhood days, on December 24, he and his girlfriend were swept away by an underwater current while swimming in the sea in Goa.

The couple struggled for five to ten minutes before they “shouted for help.” Fortunately, a family swimming nearby heard him and came to the rescue, said the YouTuber. A casual, fun dip in the waves was interrupted by an underwater current that toppled both of us. The next thing we knew was that we were struggling to stay afloat,” the YouTuber wrote.

There was a point during the ordeal when I swallowed a lot of water, and it started fading away a little bit. That’s when I decided to shout for help,” said the YouTuber. He expressed deep gratitude to the family of the IPS officer husband and IRS officer wife, who saved us both.
